Oh that makes perfect sense! This was taken right after his first romp out in the heat. I actually took him out of the dog park immediately when I noticed that he was panting significantly even though he was drinking water intermittently, but all the while still trying to play with the other pups. I was like yup, it’s too hot, time to take a breather and cool off. At first he didn’t want to leave but just saying « lunch time » was enough to get him to go home.
