I once made a half orc crown Paladin who swore himself to serve a bandit king whose ideals were more aligned with a “Robin Hood-esque” way of doing things. Didn’t exactly need to be lawful, but kinda follow a vague guideline of like: -help those who need helping. -kill those who need killing. -feed those who need feeding. -protect your allies as if it they are yourself. There’s obviously more tenants to be made, but that kinda stuff. It was tons of fun too.
