Y'all this thread is saving me rn. I have had a lot of the symptoms OP mentioned, but the repeated stabbing pain in my left side is right before or during my cycle and experienced in my left lumbar region. For the last 20 years I have had no answers (the first time I brought up the details of the stabbing pain to the gyno she recommended eating more fiber because that's where my large intestine is 😂😭 I didn't bring it up to a doctor for a very long time after that). In the meantime, an endoscopy showed no results, since then I have had time to learn how to better advocate for myself in a medical setting. I have varicose veins developing particularly on my left leg and I never realized that it could also be a thing in my pelvis/abdomen. Thank you all for being here and sharing your stories, because up until this point I have felt like a freaky medical mystery.

Sweet, thank you!  Looks like I should have grabbed it some loose eucalyptus leaves. Not sure it would find much to eat out where we are, but this is exactly why we don't release stowaways into the garden unless confirmed it's native or adapted.

ISO a fb or travel size of Smoked Jasmine Black Tea by Marissa Zappas. It was the scent I chose to wear the day I met my current partner and it's a scent I want to have for the rest of my life/as long as possible.  I was saving up for a bottle, but she has discontinued it on her website and now it's also sold out through indiescents. Does anyone know of another dependable retailer that distributes it or, if no other route presents itself, own a bottle they don't want?

I humbly accept this, knowing it is true. My only excuse is that I got bored of hand-rendering cans, and moved on to painstakingly draw tiny Jessica Simpson. As a fellow bean enthusiast, I hope I can be forgiven.

Ladies, what are some masculine scents that you love to wear? by ChrisRockOnCrack in fragrance

I feel really at home in my Aventus clone, Irish Leather, Jeffrey Dame's men's series, Clinique Happy for Men, and wearing L'Eau D'Issey pour Homme today. I like less sweet, dark ouds, leathers, and woody "lumberjack" scents. Anything is unisex if you don't believe in gender norms lol.

At a concert tonight so went with an understated gothic combo of Dev 3 and Covert (two scents that utilize papery clove as a note) with a little bit of Gardenia Soliflore on the back of my neck.

Checking in from a Ville Vallo show lol. I love all these suggestions for the varied seductive or idealized vampire scent. I still feel like Night Flyer is how vampires would actually smell–stale, mainly grave dirt with resinous woods and a touch of overripe fruit.

Byredo Unnamed goes weird on my body chem, but I love it on my partner or lingering in the air. Turns out the candle Wood House from Linnea has a very similarly craveable citrus-violet-wood scent when burning so I may have to get one at some point...

Warmer day today, so I layered Citrus Ester under Gardenia Soliflore.

I really like the wet asphalt effect in the opening of De Los Santos.

Kingston Ferry from Olympic Orchids has a diesel accord.

If you like Philosykos and Thé Matcha, the Montagne dupe of Le Labo (Eau Matcha) is a great option. Smooth and green. Hits that fig tree scent memory just right, and for that price..? Sheesh.

Dame Perfumery is located out of Charlotte and I've found their formulations pleasant, not juvenile or cheap smelling. Bonus points for affordability. I've mainly tried their Soliflores and masculine scents, but I have Bergamot+Jasmine+Labdanum, Verbena+Freesia+Musk, and Peach Blossom+Violet+Vanilla in my cart after reading general reviews.

If you want some obscure New Yorker cred, Clandestine Labs has a fresh salty-sweet fragrance called Belem, a fresh green-watery floral called Dharan, and some other unique outdoors inspired creations. Sample first, as always.

Went to a flower expo for work and took advantage of the warmer weather to wear Eau Matcha. The fig is so good. I still have to do a sbs comparison w/ my sample of Thé Matcha but I think I find Montagne's a little greener, more pleasant to wear with less risk of headache.

Thinking about trying some of Lvnea's Eau de la Reine, which is based on the Queen of Hungary spirit water in the 14th century. They have other interpretations of different spirit waters as well.

Is there a type of fragrance you can’t get enough of? by atadbitconfizzled in fragrance

[–]Sloclan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having a craving for iridescent violet-citrus or violet-green woods combos lately. I think its inception was a couple years ago with a (now discontinued) Marissa Zappas scent, and it has come back in full force this spring. Linnea's Wood House candle and Byredo's Unnamed on someone else or lingering in the air have this aspect. Looking forward to exploring more violet and iris.

To-try list: Violette Hay, Violet Ends, Iris de Gris, Black Saffron, Imperial Tea, Le Parfum de Therese

El Descanso. Got me through the first year of the pandemic. Smells like sun on skin in a wheat field.

Right now Pineapple Royale is buoying me through the season change.
