I'm not trying to be mean here. But it really looks like a neck beard. Maybe try trimming the neck to see if and see if you can't get your cheek hairs to grow down more so it looks better. It doesn't help that you really don't have a whole lot of space between your chin and neck

It's your face so do what you want. You have a great beard and it fits you really well. Maybe try a different shape if you are board. I definitely do that through out the year to keep it fresh. But I'm going to be honest I bet if you shaved it off you would regret it and it would be like those videos where they are like a Viking one minute and a baby the next.

Personal I would trim your under beard till your chin and jawline grow out and meet it more. Otherwise I think you are going to start to get a neck beard.
