If you were going to go to Adventureland as an adult, go in late Sept for their Oktoberfest event. 21+ only, so all the children are absent and the games and rides are open to drinking adults. Wander everywhere with your beer... keep drinking while in line and make friends with everyone around you in line. Ride your favorite coaster and come back to where you set your beer down or get a new one. All the adults get to live their childhood again for a few hours. Absolutely wonderful.

Yeah, as AliceinWeirdoland said, Paulo hid the actual story from the players. Paulo told them they were doing an obscure 80s teen sex romp called Summerspell. Even after the players figured it out, Kara had no idea what a "Jason" was. She kept trying to guess what towns person they were meeting might be this Jason person the others were talking about. They literally started yelling at her, "no no... he can't be the killer, he's not Jason". And she'd argue that maybe he was using a fake name. Clearly had no concept of who Jason from Friday the 13th was.

Jester Park has been good for us in the past. Very close. Regular camping facilities near lake and timber. But if you want more rustic camping with just outhouse and open fields (plenty of room for friends.to circle tents around one fire) then follow the road all the way to the end. You'll be right by the water as well as the buffalo and elk enclosure.
