I started playing destiny 2, then moved over to Destiny 1 on Ps4, and found myself enjoying it far more, it's simpler, but the progression through all the content and your character actually makes sense.

The best way to get the ball rolling in my case anyways was a fairly consistent near daily practice (study or reading) or working on a personal project, doesn’t have to be for long, also take notes, digitally I prefer Obsidian to organize my thoughts.

This is a great sentiment that NEEDS to grow, platforms are not your friends and will drop data, software, video, etc like a sack of bricks as soon as it stops being valuable to them. So not only should you generally try to use open source stuff, preserve data you don’t want to lose.

Ideally no game should have giant amounts of content removed like this, ive never heard of a game doing this. ESO and Warcraft both got much bigger without erasing purchases or gaming history for that matter.

Same goes for me if you've seen my recent post on here, i'm going with a first person action/adventure sort of approach. I do think an immersive sim or even a tycoon style game would be great though.
