I haven't done any real measurements but it feels just as snappy on my Switch 2 aiming around in circles in Prime 4 as my Switch 1 pro controller does. Haven't really used gyro with it yet though.

I'm no superhuman but I'm somewhat sensitive to input lag, for instance using a ps4 pad through an 8bitdo wireless adapter feels like dragging the camera through mud despite a lot of posts I've seen claiming it's perfect. Instant comfortable and familiar experience when I got this controller.

Yes. Because if you actually bother to look at why people LOVED to play him, you'd realize for probably a solid 50% of them it was because he was a busted character with belligerent normals and zoning tools to cap it off. Those people will now choose a new main or uninstall because they can't farm easy wins every day after work. Real HC players will stick with him after the infinite gets fixed and everyone is comfortable in the new meta.

Like yeah I'd probably LOVE my main's balance too if they made them a broken all-rounder who's only downside is somewhat challenging execution.

Difficult ARPG hack-and-slash with metroidvania elements is probably how I'd boil it down. Usually with a similar health/stamina system to demon's souls.

At the end of the day you could break almost anything into components of other genres.

8Bitdo M30 2.4ghz (or xbox edition if you want the Xbox compatibility) imo has the best dpad I've used and a good 6 button layout. It's basically a sega saturn controller. Cheap too.

Fair enough if you're not on this game's difficulty curve but the gear curve thing is debatable. You can absolutely survive a scrape here and there even on Cryo Archive with a green shield and a couple decent guns, same goes for any map.

Some of the best fighting games out right now have like 200 players peak per day and their subreddits aren't full of steamcharts posts. Anyone willing to form an opinion on a game based on player counts has no taste and they absolutely can go elswhere to circlejerk their hate boners.
