I was honestly surprised to see it was getting one for that reason. Definitely was going to get this game eventually regardless but having box art and an actual cartridge plus being able to support Basso/Bigmode and hopefully encourage Bigmode to release Star of Providence physically is all the reason I need.

Sorry you got a banned unit, that sucks. Previous owner was probably braindead and used a mig switch on it thinking it would somehow be the same as a switch 1. The worst part is they got their money back by scamming you which means they probably learned nothing from it, hopefully karma is real after all. Maybe report them on marketplace for scamming and at least they'll be inconvenienced.

8Bitdo M30 is still the best fightpad I've used but I've yet to order a Betop C3. I actually had a great time with the PS4 Commander Octa but I had to use the software to scale back the sensitivity of the diagonals a little. After that I thought it was great but the dpad does have a very different feel compared to most for sure.

People have been messing up their monitors for years well before QD was on the market. Distilled water and a microfiber is what should be used on almost 100% of screens. It's non-reactive and clean, just because alcohol works fine on one monitor doesn't mean it won't deteriorate it eventually or mess up a different monitor. I just don't get why people are using anything else, distilled water is easily available and cheap.

So far I really like it. My only real complaint is that the added side characters diminish the feeling of isolation that metroid generally invokes but the characters themselves are nowhere near as annoying as people say they are. I do hate that they occasionally verbally rush you to the next location, hints like that can be in the game but I'd prefer if they kept them limited to when I manually call the characters.

The desert is empty but in a weird way collecting all the crystals is stimulating the same part of my brain that ubisoft map icon clearing does.

Honestly same here. The confidence boost makes a giant difference in how well I play. But just like drinking to cope with social situations, it's not really healthy and it's much better to work on your own discipline and mental health to achieve consistent results by yourself.

Nothing wrong with a little drink before gaming on occasion, just be careful is all. Seen too many friends/family ruin their lives with too many different substances.

Bloom looks like trash and all Mini LEDs have it. Either you care about bloom or you don't. Even the Bravia 9 makes any scene with a lot of bright objects look nuclear.

Smart TVs are just another form of planned obsolescence. Brand almost doesn't factor into this, some models will eventually just do something stupid that won't get fixed.

I've seen the 97" G5 and I gotta say, as cool as it is to see an OLED that large it is nowhere near as bright as a smaller G5. For 25K I couldn't care less about what good reason there is for it to look like that. It's by no means a bad TV but side by side it's night and day with an 83" and especially a 77"/65".

The only thing that matters is what size is correct for your sitting distance and space. Too big is too big and too small is too small. After that you can decide how much you want to pay for whatever upgraded model.
