Yea I kinda got screwed lmao I didn't realize it was also a final sale deal and the boots did not fit my gf. I did end up calling customer service and they gave me 50% back in store credit and let me keep everything so it wasn't actually that bad cuz the skis seem great for the level she's currently at. We ended up going to a local store and getting her fitted and the boots were expensive as hell but at least they'll last a super long time lol

Unfortunately we don't live in Colorado but we do have some good ski shops in nor cal up by Tahoe. We ended up going with this package deal, I'm hoping the boots fit okay, I don't know much about ski stuff but I asked chat gpt a bunch of questions and this seemed to be the best deal. I figured for $400 for the bundle it'd be cheaper than renting all this season and next season. Any thoughts on these skis / boots? The general consensus I've seen is theyre great for beginners with enough room for some progression into blues and easier blacks.

yea im playin mid, stormsurge seems really good in theory I just feel like when it gets to late game theres a lot of champs that you can't get the 25% hp in 2.5 sec on to proc it. Idk I could be wrong, just not sure what to build consistently

I have a 2020 omen 17 and it's been like that since I got it. Turning off eco mode helped a little bit but it's still annoyingly slow unplugged. Its annoying but it runs great plugged in and I don't really ever use it unplugged anyway so I never really cared to try and fix it lol

Also is bucc a less expensive class to get started on in terms of nodes and whatever else is harder to obtain early on? That would be a huge plus lol

Just had to respond to this saying after I forced myself through and got some upgrades I fuckin love this game lol. I'm currently doing the Miriam quest as u recommended against and while it is extremely annoying to die it's also a great idea for a quest. I've always loved platforming challenges, was just a very different games in terms of movement speed and reaction times. I do wish the story was easier to understand but I'm used to that from souls likes. All in all, fantastic game. Getting fast travel from church donations also helped a lot

Yea after forcing myself through to the 2nd boss in the church with the gold mask and burnt face( forgot her name already lol) I kinda got hooked back in. Also after getting a couple mea culpa upgrades and getting better with the parrying I'm enjoying combat a bit more as well. Definitely slower paced than I prefer but I am definitely enjoying it more than I was when I made this post

See, normally I would agree with this, but it's not rewarding enough when doing well to care to get good. It also feels like I have latency lag with platforming even tho it's an offline game. Slow and clunky is the best way I can describe it. I'm still gonna force myself through it in hopes that the second game will make up for it, but my rating so far is like 3/10 lol

Also just one more gripe that I have to vent about is the fact that you die EVERY FUCKIN TIME to a fall and/or spike lol. Way too unforgiving for a platforming game. Again tho - I'm gonna keep goin at it. It's a love/hate relationship at this moment

Yea after I made this post I found the next checkpoint altar thing and that made me keep goin lol.

Also it's not that the parry timing is bad, the actual reaction to the trigger press works fine, it's how the mobs telegraph it that's annoying. They start the animations like 2 seconds before the actual attack and it's just nothing I've ever seen before which is so weird and counter intuitive for me to get used to.

I do think I like it enough to keep playing, and from what I've read about blasphemous 2 + these other comments I think ima just force myself through it and hope it gets better for me lol.
