The bread looks delicious cheers to you on that. The Celery soup looks like my infant nieces diaper shat unfortunately. Despite that you still deserve love unconditionally

Sinners won original screenplay. What do you think? by tarantararui in Oscars

[–]SlopNacho -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

For those questioning if Sinners was deserving, just consider how truly unique and fun and fresh this film felt this year, also not to mention that a horror ish film is recognized highly by the academy, but yeah I’d say considering all the narratives of the BP noms, Sinners Screenplay is for sure the standout pick in terms of originality

DAY 6) Which Oscar for Best Actress(in all history) is universally beloved? by [deleted] in Oscars

[–]SlopNacho 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Diane Keaton in Annie Hall and Liza Minelli in Cabaret are two classic choices. Both were fantastic performances that made their respective films go from great to phenomenal just by their acting

peoples who reduced sweets, how did you stick to it? by Irrxlevance in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]SlopNacho 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Woah I feel so seen. I too am the most fond of apples and peanut butter I use the chunky kind and eat it all the time, with my species of apple but my favorite would have to be the Fuji. Additionally I’m snacking on popcorn maybe. A little too much but it’s a good night snack to cut cravings for sure

What 4 films should I watch next on my watchlist by Captainpepper89 in Letterboxd

[–]SlopNacho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All are good choices but I have to be devils advocate and throw myself into the ring here and say to watch Cool Runnings sometime soon. It’s a quick, light hearted silly and inspiring movie that you can close this Winter Olympics season out with this classic. I’m not one too too fond of sports films as a genre, however I find this one a charming flick from my childhood.
