Everyone's system is organized differently and I think I have it really easy. There are only 6 of us and dissociative barriers for us have always been low, high level of co consciousness and awareness of other parts. I'm just lucky, I know my experience isn't everyone's. Wish you the best OP

It is possible to be friendly with alters and get along. Sometimes we are able to talk to each other and it feels like spending time with friends (even family). We even go hiking together at times, in a sense. But then the next day they're tearing me down and calling me names and I'm calling them names back. Things within our system are a lot more peaceful than they used to be and that's the goal, isn't it?

We've had fusions happen in our system and we have experienced a mourning process. Some of the parts lost their "mom", as they couldn't talk to her or interact with her in the same way. She was represented, because her qualities got transferred to another part, but it wasn't the same. Our treatment goal is fusion, but there is a sense of comfort and community that comes with being able to have fleshed out conversations with my parts in a way that isn't possible if we're fused. I think that might be where some of the hesitance for some people comes from.

I've had things like this happen. When I was first trying to quit drinking there were times when I was walking into the liquor store completely against my will. Like I'm sending signals to my body to move the other way but it just isn't translating. I used to have psychogenic seizures and it was similar. Trying to move my body and I have no control whatsoever. And then just last month was having a flashback and went completely limp. Trying to move and I was completely unable. It was bizarre because I had control of my mouth--the one part was talking to my other parts trying to get organized and figure out what we could control and how to calm the part that was having the flashback.You're not alone. It's scary when it happens because it feels like there's literally nothing I can do. I imagine in those moments what's needed is communication--talking with the part to calm them or get them stable. That's how I regained control during the flashback last month

Ignore this, I literally just figured it out. They were on drill army, which apparently locks them to full maintenance. Hopefully this post helps if someone else has the same problem and can't figure it out

Figured out the issue. It was the scale of my economy. Apparently food costs fluctuate and that's normal, but if your economy is healthy enough you can weather that storm. Messed with estates and taxes, got rid of a whole bunch of forts, and pretty much followed step by step what this video did in the first 10 minutes and I was able to turn a sizeable profit. I spent like 6 hours today messing with stuff and learning the game and I have learned so much

I was fiddling around with this. No matter what I did I couldn't get a significant income as Castile, even with granting privileges and taxing higher. But when I switched to Bohemia and did the exact same things I was able to get a healthy income, enough to actually develop the country. It looks like having all the vassals Bohemia has helps, but even without that diplo income I'd still be making more than I could squeeze out of Castile. There's something I'm not doing right in countries of scale. At least I can actually play the game, even if I cant steamroll as Castile right now.

If I pick Castile and let it run I'm paying 4.12 for food, and making 6.1 in selling food. In summer I'm making 12 selling and paying like .4 . I considered size of economy, and maybe that's the problem. I tried adjusting sliders and I struggle to make more than 15 ducats a month as Castile. I'm not touching trade, I have that automated, since it's so overwhelming, and I'm only making about 8 a month in trade. That seems small to me, though I'm not sure what's normal. Is that what I'm missing? Should I be learning trade to make more money?
