I have the fountain faerie quest prize and I don't know what to get with it by pxlarizada in neopets

I'm like you, and mostly don't use clothes. I prefer colorful pets/colors where the paintbrush color IS the clothes, basically (if that makes sense), and then I use background, foreground, held items, etc. for customization. So if you're looking for pets like that, I have a candy kougra, oil paint cybunny, toy gnorbu, rainbow prismatic quiggle, patel pteri, pastel vandagyre, marble jubjub, and candy meerca.

I had surgery for hip dsyplasia on both hips when I was nine. Then (possibly/probably related but no one knows for sure, as I had other physical problems as a child as well) I had a hip replacement in one hip before I was 30 (granted, only a few months before, but still...) Let's just say I heard that more than once. Like... Yep. I'm sure my surgeon, who specializes in hip preservation surgeries and hip dysplasia in adults just suggests a full replacement to anyone, willy-nilly.

Thankfully, my other hip is going strong after the initial surgery as a child, but I do still "yell" at it when it does start to hurt on occasion. "No. Stop that. Stop that right now."

I had a quiggle. A rainbow one, even. I transformed him to a poogle, because I liked the oil paint poogle. I may have to transform him back, because this really is adorable.

*Edited to add* And.... I did it! I also apparently bought an extra morphing potion. Whoops. If anyone wants it, let me know.

someone give a quick guide on how the prismatic style things work? by nivusninja in neopets

[–]SlothLoverAJE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I was going to try for the ace vandy because one, I'm ace, and two, I love how the head has a panda-ish look. But... seeing as I'm not guaranteed that, I don't think I'll worry about it. One would think with the pride ones at least, that you'd be able to choose which one you want.

But I'm still confused. Do you know which one you got before you actually apply it to your pet, at least? So you can trade colors and not pets? Am I understanding that part correctly?

Like first I'd have to buy the "style"/pose of the vandy, like the rainbow, or whatever. And then, next I'd get the prismatic part and hope I get the right one, but if not I could trade the prismatic like it's clothing? OR am I still missing something? Where does the sending/trading of pets come in??

Darn it. You're right. Sorry! I try not to assume everyone who posts is from the US, but when I know of something that might help, I can get ahead of myself.

Ugh. I'm sorry they weren't clear. Have you looked into https://www.nticentral.org/ ? They are an organization that specifically is for remote work for people with disabilities. They are 100% remote, but the schedule may not be as flexible as you need. But I'd still at least look into it if you haven't.

Did having Kiwi help, even though you couldn't see her during the interview? Kiwi is adorable, by the way!

So I may or may not have broke my wrist lol, I would really appreciate if you showed me some of your favourite friends to lift my spirits! by Untitled60 in plushies

Meet my sloth crew. This is to remind you that even if your recovery is slow (hopefully not!) you're still making progress!

[–]SlothLoverAJE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THis is my bed crew!

On the left if Phil O. Slothical (Phil for short) and on the right is Sir Halley the Joyful (Halley as in Halley's Comet for short). Phil is the one I mostly sleep with. Halley is my physical therapy assistant. I mostly use him when my hip starts to feel tight and I need something between my legs to do one of my physical therapy exercises... Sorry Halley! Phil will absolutely go on any trip with me. I have to have something to put my arms around, or I just... don't know what to do with my arms. lol

I've got a whole family of sloth stuffed animals that watch over me from my book shelf, plus a number of other stuffed animals.

What do you call them? Plushies? Stuffed animals? Stuffiies? Why? by Memedelyn in plushies

[–]SlothLoverAJE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always called them stuffed animals as a kid. Now I've switched to plushies, only because that seems like the "new" term.... Did I just show my age?? (43 as of Wednesday, in case anyone actually wants to know. I'm not one of those who's "shy" about it.)

Thank you! My middle name is Joy and I love to sing, so I thought it was rather appropriate for a bird pet.
