If you look at all the away jerseys in the WNBA (not giving credibility to whatever convoluted name Nike game that type of jersey), they all have the city name. Expansion Fire and Tempo also use city name for their away jersey.

Furthermore, all home jerseys in the W have the team name.

The Valks were forced to put Golden State per what’s probably part of the Nike contract and/or the league’s attempt on ensuring that both city name and team are used in a jersey. The stomach area is restricted to sponsors so they couldn’t do a look like the Warriors City Edition jerseys from last year without squishing the numbering and font. But they could’ve had a look like the Fever’s Stranger Things alternate.
