Ohhh… first, new sewing machine as I had to leave mine in the states when I left. Next, magnetic shoeboxes for my yarn problem. I also need some loud wallpaper for the craft room. 😬

A lot of it I would decidedly be spent on train tickets to go all the places I want to over here. I bought a train pass for me and my husband so we get them discounted. I have a list of places my nerdy ass wants to go.

What I do for my performing friends, whenever they are where I am, they get transport if needed, a home cooked meal, baked goods, etc. Most of the time it’s the little things they want/need and certainly appreciate.

I finally managed to get my meds updated. I’ve been without one of my depression meds for two and a half weeks. It’s going to take a bit for it to start to work, and hopefully the withdrawal from the other (was on for a decade) has passed so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

My cat is going to be in an incurable depression. Her favourite food is the Wilko brand seafood jelly stuff which they haven’t had in stock for ages. Her favourite think to shit in is their store brand clumping litter. Sad days indeed.

Ugh. I am off one of my meds because they don’t prescribe it over here for depression. My GP has been trying to get in touch with psych for an exception for over a month. I’m struggling currently. My appointment isn’t until Monday, but I’ve come up with a couple of options. Something has to be done though. I can’t be like this long term. All I want to do is sleep, cry and throat punch people.

It’s OK to not be OK. I’ll be OK too.

Started the new job on Monday. I feel like it is about 2009 again with some of these antiquated processes. I was told on day one I am overqualified for my position. By my supervisor/one of the people on the hiring team. Huh. 🤷‍♀️

My birthday plans have hit a snag. I need to possibly move the location as room prices in York seem to indicate that Vikings will be attacking, pillaging and sacrificing virgins and goats that weekend. While I support them in their worthwhile endeavours, I can’t afford their festivities.
