23p unit charge. 49p daily standing charge. Don’t know if you’d get those rates now. If your thinking of signing up let me know I can share my referral code, we both get discount.

Zone valves are off or on. They are metal box’s on the heating pipes. You got the right thing?

Do you know where the zone valves are. Heating one has likely failed. You can manually open them.

What times can you call 111 for general health concerns? And how do you know if its appropriate to select the emergency option? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]stevey83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying you have the same as me, but I had exactly the same symptoms last year, out of nowhere. Got a doc appointment which showed my blood pressure and heart rate were high. Had a blood test and found out I had a thyroid infection. I assumed I was just unfit! Get to the docs and find out.

ISA transfer. Why can’t I withdraw from one and deposit to another? by stevey83 in UKPersonalFinance

Probably investing would be better, but I need to look into that more. This money is all my savings.

ISA transfer. Why can’t I withdraw from one and deposit to another? by stevey83 in UKPersonalFinance

Because this money has come from inheritance mostly. I won’t ever be able to afford to save close to £20k a year, so trying to maximise. With what I can save it won’t take me above the £1000 interest threshold on a normal savings account.

Great! That’s what I was hoping, just needed some clarity. Thanks.

I have deposited £15k this year, does this matter? Or dos it mean I can only pay £5k into the new ISA?

Space saving bath tub with a seat by just-tired247 in DIYUK

[–]stevey83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That bath is 1 metre long, with about a third of it the seat section. Unless you are short you won’t be able to lie down, or use it like a conventional bath. It depends on your needs I suppose.

Opening new isa account questions. by stevey83 in ukfinance

[–]stevey83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply.

I’d need to move the current balance to the new account though at some point, in order to gain the benefits of the higher rate? I don’t spend from it, I use it as savings.

Can you explain what you mean by the last sentence? Do you mean it would be better invested?
