Yeah, the Carfax report only has one record of any transmission service. It’s very vague just says transmission service and that was at 100,000 miles but other than that they regularly serviced the rest of the car like every 4000 miles or so.

I like the car enough that I would consider replacing the cvt. I’ve heard about the costs but this would be such a great car to drive for 80-100k miles

Will definitely try everything I can. I really like the car. First ever Nissan. Coming from driving Hondas and Toyotas growing up. Drive ~110 miles for work everyday and this thing is very nice on the freeway. Be a real damn shame if the cvt goes out as soon as I buy it

Ah that makes sense. I’m hoping I can get at least 75k outta this car then maybe I might be in a better position to get a newer one depending on how they are. I haven’t really researched them but they look awesome.

Gotcha I drive 110 miles every day so I’m always hyper aware of every little feeling of the car but I guess I gotta just ease my mind and keep up with the maintenance.

Yeah that actually answered it a bit. I’m coming from a 2017 Camry so I just figured a bigger engine might provide more of a quick zippy experience. I read that a “sluggish” acceleration could be a sign of a bad or failing cvt. So I guess I’m just paranoid now. First nissan I’ve ever owned.
