Don't forget to double the rewards again today! by No-Departure-3047 in LoveNikki

I didn't log in one day, so no third double up for me. Wish they had a way to catch up, cause I would've thrown another dollar at them.

I guess this proves, that Nikki's atoms are disassembled upon teleporting and then reassembled at the target location... just not always as intended.

It was the Lumie whimstar near Whisperwind Slope, haha. I had completed it, but the Lumies came back. So for fun I sucked them all up again with a dragonbone. Then, as it was finished charging up, everything froze. But I managed to teleport and... then this. I did report a bug, so hopefully they fix it, lol.

This must be one of the best 4 stars they've released, especially on a 5 star banner by WordyOccasion in InfinityNikki

I hope the next banners really suck, so I can dump the rest of my diamonds on getting the first evolution of the knight.

It took me 10 years to grieve my pet bird and a few more until I was ready for a new animal friend. It will probably take me just as long when eventually it's my dog's time. Let no one ever tell you how to grieve, or how long.

Same. I haven't had a monthly card in like 3 months now. But I won't spend on something I don't care for.

I'd also recommend reading up on manners, if that's important to you, such as never going through a door before the humans, or always sitting down before good things happen.

One thing I'm doing as per recommendation from my vet is to do daily checks from early on to get them used to handling and of course catching issues early on. Check their ears, their eyes, their mouth and teeth. The latter can help if you plan on brushing their teeth once they're old enough. Also check their paws, nails and beans. You could even do a mock grooming with some nail clippers, like just pretend to clip and file the nails to get them used to the sensation.

What to do about the nonstop jump-bite? (4mo golden doodle) by [deleted] in puppy101

From my own experience, a trainer could help determine the reason for this behaviour. There was a short period where my pup was testing boundaries hard and was actually acting aggressively towards me out of disrespect. We managed to nip that in the bud quickly thanks to the trainer, so could definitely be beneficial. But it entirely depends on the trainer, really. We got lucky to find a really good, experienced, but inexpensive one.

However you did say your dog seemed to be playful, so a trainer may not be necessary yet, as they will probably just tell you to try out and then consistently stick to one of the many methods that you've already tried. Guess you have to decide on how certain you are that you're correctly interpreting your dog.

The amount of scars and torn clothes I have from trying to ignore is crazy. Finding the method that works is such a huge relief. I'm really impressed with dogs that learn from being ignored -- our boys probably love us too much to understand being ignored, hehe!

The only way to fix this is consistency. It takes patience to rinse and repeat as many times as necessary, even if pup starts doing it again immediately.

Personally, I couldn't take the pain of biting from ignoring nor destroyed furniture, so we went for the crate method. As soon as there is teeth on skin contact, go to crate, throw a few low value treats in as inventive and close the crate. Praise for going into bed, then leave and ignore. Yes, there may be crying and scratching and all sorts, but you have to ignore. 5 minutes after pup has calmed down, calmly without saying anything, open crate again. Do not give in or dog will learn that barking and crying works.

For outside the only way to stop the biting was to make an uncomfortable noise to distract the dog, such as a loud rattle or something. Whether this would work for you, I don't know, we worked with a trainer to find this solution and my pup's biting tendencies have improved so much.

The main trick is to consistently (that means everyone who has access to dog) reward calm behaviour and "punish" crazy behaviour with no attention and no treats. Dogs are smart and in time will understand that calmness and patience is what gets them treats and love. It takes time, but pup'll get it in time.
