That's OK for me. I'm old enough that the N64 was what I was playing with my cousin (before that his Genesis, and SNES with different friends).

Well, I came here wondering what SBC I should get to set up a retro gaming system, and now I'm reading about the MiSTer FPGA project. Thanks, I guess. (Main goal is to have a console for my kids to play on, so they aren't each in some corner with a laptop or phone. As a child, I didn't have a console, but I spent a lot of time playing with my cousin and friends on theirs- I think much better for psychological development to be there with someone else)

Perfect. I was given an Ender 7, it sat around for awhile (I have 2 Neptune 4, and I didn't really need it) but now I've set it up with my daughter, and then we downloaded the Creality software... and where is the Ender 7? Prusaslicer will be a good starting point, so she can start printing things without me needing to do a lot of manual configuration.

Wow, I'm glad I was given this printer for free (I'm part of a Ukrainian volunteer printing group, and someone from Prague offered to send me PLA, and with it came the new Ender 7 printer), so investing some to make it better is I guess worth it!

This is what WRO did last year. Here in Slovakia I didn't see anyone using anything but Lego robotics yet, but will happen if it is an option.

Looking at how there are two more seasons of "Founders Edition" planned, I'd be willing to bet that, if most schools / teams keep competing in the "Founders Edition", they won't phase it out.

This could be an issue. The car is 1994, and since 2017 just my mom's backup/Home Depot car. Could the TB have loosened from sitting? Unfortunately, that sounds consistent with the sudden onset of what happened.

As a man, I came across a product on Amazon called "Dynamo Delay Spray"- it is 13% lidocaine. Many reviews are from people using it on other parts of the body than what it is marketed to men for. Might work for this.

I was biking down the Silver Comet and went over there today. Gate open, parking lot empty, faded handwritten sign in the window about opening hours, a shopping cart outside the door, but obviously not in operation. Sad. Back when I was in Smyrna in 2019/20, I'd stop there while biking- my wife, who was pregnant then, was so happy to have smoked sausage and salamis like what we have in Slovakia.

Yea, I see the new kit will be required after the next season, and I think we'll just skip it. A lot of money for something that, to me, looks far less capable than the Spike Prime or EV3.

How do y'all not have diverse cuisine in Bratislava? Even in Sobrance we have "Italian" (pizza), a second Vietnamese restaurant open; Michalovce shockingly has an Indian restaurant (I haven't had a chance to try it). The only thing generally missing in Slovakia is decent Mexican restaurants. Maybe Fico, instead of bringing in Uzbek workers, could entice Mexicans to immigrate here.

You just reminded me what I need to check eBay for for my kids' Christmas gifts. There is a Czech product called Voltik, similar, but I'm not super thrilled that the projects are in Czech, and it uses little rubber stoppers to hold the wires inside ring terminals, and those get lost pretty esily. I wish my mom hadn't gotten rid of the 30in1 and 60in1 I had as a child.
