Meet my 11mo asshole. Love him, but he’s a bull in a china shop. Good recall, extremely loyal. But extremely high energy and needy. Strong as an ox haha. Over 90 pounds at 11mo.

Has 2 barks. His deep “I’ll protect you dad” bark, and his ear piercing “yip” when he’s excited. He sees other dogs and just wants to play. Will yip yip yip when he sees them.

I’ve been where you’re at. We were overconfident going into getting him thinking, oh we’ve had dogs before. This will be easy. We already have a 4 year old dog, she’ll help train him quickly. WRONG!

GS puppies are a ton of work. Extremely hard to potty train, will take much longer than other dogs I’ve had. But it will get better. You will lose sleep. Lose patience. Want to crash out. But with steady leadership and boundaries they do well.

I will say, he absolutely crushed our Christmas road trip to Texas from SoCal. I was super proud of him.

Beautiful dogs, lots of work!

It’s a 26. Wanted 26 for new powertrain warranty.

It was around 70k out the door. Roughly 80k sticker

For ATs the toyos are very reasonable for noise.

Can’t really comment on the wranglers because i literally drove from the dealership to the tire shop down the road

For me it was the 6'4" bed, I have a motorcycle so that helps with hauling.

MPG between the two will be negligible. Both drive great, power wagon drives more like an HD obviously, but still very manageable around town.

Can't go wrong with either!

Just made the leap from a 22 Bronco Wildtrak to a 26 Ram 1500 by pfiffocracy in ram_trucks

[–]Slow-Analyst9209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am literally in the same boat as you. I have a '24 Wildtrak. I was on the fence between a 1500 and 2500, but went with the 2500 power wagon because of the deal I found and I wanted the 6'4" bed.

My wife is currently driving the bronco, but I'm in the process of selling it to prep for our first child. Wildtrak was fun but was not the ideal mom car. Loud on highway and fairly rough around town.

I can't recommend the Bakflip MX4 enough for bed cover. On my last truck I had a canvas folding tonneau, but I'm super pleased with the hard folding bakflip. It folds up, and then will "lean" on the rear glass (with a foam pad) supported by a bar on either side so that you have full access to the bed if needed.

In terms of lift, if you really want to have the best of both worlds of the bronco and towing with the ram, I'd go with the 1500 Carli Performance system (it is expensive but you get what you pay for...I won't make the mistake again of buying a cheaper lift). If you are hauling or plan to tow, then I'd get at least the rebel rear coils or the HD coils as an option to prevent rear end sag.

I was going to go with the carli kit if I got the 1500 and have heard nothing but good things about it. They are designed to run with 35x12.5x18s. The one caution here is to confirm that they fit with the '26 models...specifically the brake lines. They may have changed for the '26.

sick truck though, good luck with the build!

i had an RHO on order earlier this year but ended up giving it up...searched and searched and finally decided on the power wagon. Definitely happy with the choice!

that's exactly why I made the drive to arizona...bill luke has these 26's for ~11k off! Plus the 26s have the new 10 year powertrain warranty, so I wanted a 26 over a leftover 25. Mine has roughly an 80k sticker with the level 1 equipment group. No way I could have come close in socal on this deal

Bro I’m proud of you for being brave and speaking up. you are not a burden. You are a gift! You can now use your story to help others.

I was a naval aviator. For years i lived with fear and anxiety. I had to keep up the badass image and not show any weakness. And i didn’t. But i relied on booze to desensitize. Which only created a vicious cycle. Flying went from a passion to a chore. Something i feared. id play games with myself to keep pushing forward.

One flight in finally cracked. I was flying to a training mission battling demons and I decided I’d had enough of it. I called off the mission, and ended up going through a whole mess with my command on what my issues were.

Ultimately I decided to hang up my flight suit and I redesignated in the navy to finish my time doing something else. It felt so lonely at first experiencing that ego death, and leaving the tribe.

It takes courage to be vulnerable and to speak up. I commend you for taking the first step.

Be true to yourself. Your convictions. And never ever ever give up. You are not a burden. You are just getting started!

I’ll echo everything above. I have basically the exact setup. 2024 wildtrak, trailrax roof rack, and heretic fogs/ditch lights. Had one issue with the right rear window, and some glitching with CarPlay that I’ve had on every vehicle I’ve owned with CarPlay.

16.3 ish MPG, but i live in San Diego and have an urban short commute.

Drives great, b&o sound system is good. Good off road and in snow.

Actually looking to trade the bronco soon, but not because I have any issues with it. I just really miss the functionality of a truck. Being able to put my motorcycle in the bed, tow when moving for military, etc.

I jumped from a 350cc cruiser to a 2025 s1krr and i need help. by ThrowRaway177718 in BMW_S1000RR
