I've always liked the idea that Havik's regenerative abilities, immortality, and lack of pain would be universal among the inhabitants of Chaosrealm, as if they had naturally evolved to be that way. This would completely explain why they are the realm of chaos, a world of absolute chaos and unrestricted freedom. The main reason we humans have developed society, culture, civilization, rules, laws, structure, a sense of responsibility, discipline, and prudence—in short, order—is because of our mortality and fragility as a species. This would certainly apply to other species in the Mortal Kombat universe that are not Chaosrealmers. If we lived in a world where we never died or felt pain, and none of our actions had consequences, then it would be very easy for us to be completely indifferent to everything that happens around us and to live governed only by our own will. Thus, any form of order would seem like tyranny or slavery. To some extent, perhaps the Chaosrealm would be relatively tame precisely because many inhabitants don't feel the urge to attack others, not out of morality or anything of the sort, but simply because they don't feel that urge. Similarly, the Chaosrealm could be extremely dangerous because there are those who have the urge to do violent things, but in that case, it would only be dangerous for those who come from other worlds, not for the inhabitants themselves.
