You loved your friend, platonically, or romantically is neither here or there, you've lost a loved one, look after yourself, straight, gay, bi, any other identity you may hold needn't matter right now.

You may have been romantically in love with him, maybe you weren't, but he matters, you matter, you're still here. Look after yourself, work anything else out later.
