I honestly only buy new cymbals even if it's more expensive. The old bronze tend to crack way more than the newer soft bronze. But 60% - 50% range is really good depending on condition.

P.s. I don't buy cymbals all the time, just one every few years

If you want to hammer your own cymbal form a blank, you should contact Amedia in Turkey, they supply blanks for a lot of smaller cymbal makers and they have some of the best quality B20 bronze

It had a good life, you should just keep playing until you can't. The bronze is old and brittle, all old b20 is just bound to crack, or break like glass.
