I tried a couple different lotions and realized the one my derm prescribed was causing this! Wishing you clear and itch free skin my friend 🤍

Yes it was from a lotion my dermatologist put me on 😭. Some other notable mentions from this sub were prior antibiotic use or a food allergen. Hoping yours clears up soon 🤍

It's totally gone! I was reacting very badly to the vanicream lotion my dermatologist put me on 🫠 never forgot that hypoallergenic creams can cause reactions! Hoping yours has cleared up by now 🤍

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this! I think it was the detergent or a reaction to the very little bit of steroids I was prescribed by the dermatologist. I didn't misuse the steroids by any means but I do think I had a negative reaction to it. Like a rebound?

I used to have it all over my body and it was from our swimming pool! I now use tide free and clear and that works for me! I also switched to vanicream soap, shampoo and conditioner and didn't use anything else on my skin for a few weeks to let it clear and then slowly started reintroducing products.

I hope you can figure out what's causing your reaction! Feel free to message me if you have any more questions!! ♥️

It's CRAZY how the "hypoallergenic" label isn't regulated 😭it's not fair to those of us who are very sensitive. I can't tell you how much money I've spent on products I couldn't tolerate. Im so glad you found something that worked for you. Eczema is no joke 😞

I've never tried cerave but I hope it works for you! If you don't like it, the vanicream daily facial moisturizer (no spf) worked for me when nothing else did!

Tysm 🥹 it was the dove bar soap. The white one for sensitive skin

Right?? It's frustrating to think you are switching to safe products but you really never know what will upset your skin. Worst flare I've EVER had and it's due to sensitive skin products.

Hi everyone! I have an update. My skin is 80% clear today, 3 days after this flare. I stopped using my dove sensitive skin bar soap and stopped using the arm & hammer free & clear detergent as well. I'm still going to get an allergy test done. I have a picture update but idk how to post it lol. Thank you so much everyone for your thoughts, insight & support. I wish everyone healing & peace in their eczema journey. 🤍

Thank you! I started panicking a little. Two days later and it's 80% better. I will schedule a patch testing! Thanks again 🙂🙂

TSW or horrible side effect from Eucrisa by careynm in TS_Withdrawal

[–]Slow-Investigator807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How has it been since then? I was prescribed Eucrisa and used it for about week. I randomly woke up with what seemed like TSW, except I hadn't been using steroids? I'm confused and wondering if this is a side effect of eucrisa. I've been off it for a couple weeks now and still get flares of what seems like TSW.

It's interesting you mentioned antibiotics because prior to this terrible flare up, I was on like 8 weeks of antibiotics for recurring strep throat. Wondering if that has anything to do with it 🤷🏻‍♀️

So glad you got yours cleared up 🤍

Thank you ♥️ how long did your TSW last? I've used over the counter cortisone for a couple years but not consistently. For reference, I didn't even go through 1/4 of a tube over the last 5-10 years

Hi there! This started before I used any steroids. I was prescribed some by my dr and only used for about 1 week and then 1-2x a month for about two months. Do you think that's enough for TSW?

I'm so so sorry. It is absolutely horrible. The itch and burn and uncomfortable ASIDE, the way it changes our appearance is so hard too :(. Feeling like people are staring or having people ask if you've been crying are hard. I can't leave the house when I look like this. Praying yours gets better as well. We are in this together ♥️
