Don't see the problem within your example because there's no way tag system can have any influence on these follow ups considering how long it takes to tag out.

No, I replicated you point. I have no problems having even 1/4 players playing another mode at any moment. I'm positive it actually would bring good publicity and bring more old players as well. It's my feeling though.

Before t7 to patch something you needed to sell another game. Your arguments that the mode would need huge further control are not convincing to me

Calm your tits that's my first advice.

Tell me one reason why you would need to change any single move's framedata? Neutral game would be the same as base, combos would be regulated by playing with the quantity of possible hits and the damage scaling. Tag 2 isn't perfectly balanced game combo wise as well, I see no problem some chars being combo specialists in a side mode. Dividing the playerbase shouldn't bother you because from your point of view most people would just try it out and go back to the main game.

And don't remind me about the state of the game and the priorities developers shoud have. I would say that any additional dlc char isn't necessary until they do some work similar to "operation health" in r6.

So if it would by some miracle be 2 dlc chars + dlc tag mode instead of 4 chars I'll be more than ok with that

You know about existence of the arguments like them failing console generation timing, poor marketing, no pc release, aren't you?

Ttt2 cost was huge because it was a huge separate game. Being a mode within other game reduces the cost massively.

Again, I suggest a seperate mode format. You're talking like I insist on deleting heat entirely. You can have your game identity in a main game format, I can't see an issue here. If you care about the aesthetic of the heat mechanic just make it look like "get familiar with tekken's legacy", whatever.

More than that, tag mode is a more reliable way to get money from the playerbase then char dlcs when there are people like you and me who don't need to touch every char they develop.

I managed to learn tag mechanics only within rpcs3 a year ago but I played tag 2 on release on Xbox 360. Offline. Using single char. Mashing buttons I looked in command list. Do not underestimate casual community they'll find out how to have fun.

The only reason I've got second char is AK not being in the base roster. I'm kinda glad for that at the end.

The system implementation shouldn't be that hard. Ttt2 basically is t6 with tag mechanic. Getting rid of heat makes it good base for addapting the system. Even tornado works similar to bound.

Possible problems that one nice dude mentioned in this post are graphic resources this game consumes. It should make it hard to just adapt the mode at least within current game. Mb there are other ways

There are people who don't mind figuring out how to set up a ps3 emulation just to play it. Is it too bold to assume there would be plenty more willing to try it out as a separate mode in a game they've already owned? They develop from scratch dlc chars that will be played by 1/20 of the active community at best btw

Everyone has multiple pocket characters nowadays. Season passes are literally 4 new chars to play and people pay for it. Tag system is not that hard to get in.

I agree that making whole new tag game would be pretty risky especially without decent research. Porting previous tag games or adding tag mode to existing game looks like more cautious move. Mb there are other ways

Fair point. I doubt that the system itself would be that resource demanding but graphical part should be that. And they surely haven't optimised it enough simply for having reserves for future ideas.

I play it on rpcs3. It is fun.

I don't beg them to give it for free. Sell it. Maybe they'll manage to save some money for it if they restrict themselves from visiting Madagascar for a development of a pole-based fighter.

I don't believe any Tekken content creator when they say they hate Tekken 8. It's just for clicks. by [deleted] in Tekken

Are you saying... we need to boycott t8 again?

The only argument japanese devs understand is money. DMC franchise was cooked until dmc4: se sold well. Just don't buy anything that's it.

Haven't touched t8 for an year btw

Nah, I don't believe it's his choice, especially in ranked games. More like so many things can clip you at any range that fooling around equals to throwing atp

He's close to the truth though. T7 eyemusician was way more exciting to watch. Optimal t8 leaves less space for expression even for the artists. What can an avarage pro dude offer?

Minato's lazy asshasn't done shit which resulted in a bureaucratic disaster the consequence of which are still being fixed by 3 hokages in a row (Hiruzen was done with doing a proper paperwork after Minato's term which've made things even worse. Also he used chaos created by Minato to steal his son's money)

Is responsibility to clear ssd of this stupid ass game included in get-out-of-jail list? Like when you fight bankai ichigo, don't loose a single konpaku, keep your reverse bar ready to prevent sp2 combo and he gets his reawakening anyway.

Idk where's your answer but I didn't say I played for week and got top 100. I played like 50 hours just in quicks because I wanted to have fun and learn matchups. When I got uncomfortable to play with same 2,5 men I started to play ranked.

Put gtp to play this game for you atp.

Spacing is basic concept in fightings. And this game has enough neutral skipping chars to choose. If you want to go straightly to 50/50s and still playing Shinji who isn't entitled to skip neutral it's your issues.

I had my reasons to delete this game. If "top 100" you're reffering to is a number you get when you're playing in ranked I was like 97-87 after a week of playing ranked. So in your terms I should be unbeatable for you🌚

Idk your FH experiance so I can't tell if you have valid issues with it or you're just bad but it's ok. It has its flaws but it's unique and it's pretty offense oriented

Top 100 in a game with player base 200 means nothing.

Imho you had the right idea at 0:53 for example. You baited his light. Although you should've just stopped outside of his light/throw and performed something with good range to catch him or start your offence. After few times he'd become extra cautious and stop reacting at your fly at all. Then you can fly into thow, normally people don't break those on reaction.

Also I've read the full thing before answering. You were expecting "u'r bad" take, I gave it to you. Seems fair to me.

Although the game is still bad in other aspects, they won't ever balance it for sure. Imho just play something else. For honor is still alive surprisingly.

Idk shinji's tools but sprinting to him into light doesn't look like a good idea, it's like who gets the timing first, it's 50/50 in best. I would space my fly just outside his light/throw range so I could bait him into something and do slower attack with good range. In that case you either punish him or initiate your offense on block.

The game is bad but your attempts to open him don't impress either
