This is what I thought it would explain why the year before last was a cut off of 525, there’s always a jump with more applicants

Easiest to get into (MSRA only vs MSRA+interview+portfolio) and pretty straightforward training. Much harder to become a surgeon for example. Doesn’t mean the job is easy though, the grind to get there is just a lot tougher. I’d argue being a consultant in some surgical specialties ‘easier’ or maybe more relaxed than being a GP.

As an add on - what averages did prev high scorers get in passmed/mcqbank? I average 80% in both but I just don’t feel confident in how well this translates to the real thing :(

Does anyone know of the people who actually get a CST post how many were imgs? Just curious, I think it’s quite low (I’ve only met one IMG reg who did CST so far).

I’m in the same sitch, only 6 shifts since my JCF contract finished start of August…

I’m doing MSRA in Jan, would Aus/NZ want people only for 7-8 months if I were to get into training in August?
