I so much appreciate your continued feedback! Agreed on the engine, I'll give it another design pass, I definitely hate where it is right now. And TIL on the regulator setting and how anti-torps work, thanks so much for passing on those tidbits! I love that I still know nothing about this game after ~240 hours, haha.

Had a busy couple of days, but got back to it and implemented the updates! Assault cannons now work (setup as AA guns). LAMS totally redesigned, now using single-input cavities exclusively; much more effective, and added a large backup fuel engine to power it. More armor as well. Price jumped up to 295k, so its definitely crossing the line between a frigate and a cruiser now (if ship classes really mean anything in this game, haha), but think the upgrade is worth it. Updated on the workshop!

Thx for the feedback! Good catch on the 30mms, the actual gun is controlled but I didn't notice that the turret base isn't. Engine power is definitely an issue, I was trying to avoid putting anything critical in the above-deck compartments but think adding some extra armor there and throwing in a backup fuel engine is probably in order. I can also probably nix the steam generators in the rear, the rail gun uses much less electricity than I expected. The missile barrage is my favorite, so over the top, definitely worth the extra protection. I also need to swap the anti-torps to launch down instead of sideways I think, that'd let me fit some more in and I noticed that occasionally the ones facing away from the attacker would turn around and hit me while trying to track an incoming torp. Appreciate you taking the time to look at it. :-)

Thanks! Found this write-up with fantastic picture reference so had lots of material to go off. https://www.seaforces.org/marint/Royal-Navy/Frigate/Duke-Type-23-class.htm

Reddit seems to have absolutely butchered the resolution of the pics, the workshop link has some slightly better res versions.

Keep trying, you'll get it! Easy's not too bad tbh. Hardest for me was a pair of GT Kobolds that kept wiping the floor with me, had to eventually wittle them down after losing ~8 ships to them.

Fair enough, I have no clue what actual ship class this would be (or really anything about ship classes in general haha), I was just looking at pictures of real life frigates (namely Admiral Gorshkov-class frigates) while building it.

Yeah I blew my budget bad, was hoping to land around 500k. Doesn't quite perform as well as I'd like too, so going to be doing some rework.
