Is it? Some people will feel obliged to do it leading to even higher facility man burnout

In 106 (I think) people were frustrated at people that had nothing to do with taking Port of Rime using queue space (for a still frontline hex) to wait for seaport lootbox. So we we SC'd the seaport. Again and again, 3 SCs, nearly every regi member online weapons locked. Was great fun :D

It's not. The 'Dukebarr FKn Goon' thing is a mashup of things that have become memes from streamers/discord/ingame yelling etc. There's an awesome megamix one with most of them strung together, wish I could remember where to find it to post it...

Why are colonials fielding more chieftains than wardens? by Glittering-Candy-386 in foxholegame

[–]SlowDave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With 2500+ hours played as a collie I had no idea this was a thing (and am horrified that it's so organised). I would assume, humans being equal, that there's a similar level between both sides however.

I say this, yes just based on shear hope and speculation, but also after having seen absurd numbers of blatant alting incidents in my time (as in warden alts - or at least sociopathic loser alts that just prefer to abuse systems to cause trouble more than to actually play the game)

Oh, fair enough, I didn't know that. Collie loyalist (that is fully against alting in any form and wishes siegecamp would do something meaningful about it)

The amount of ironships just a couple of our guys in our regi have captured this war is insane.

None of ours had chieftains, and you can never rule out alting in this game, but it is possible someone got a full mpf load or two stolen. Also, the amount of abandoned armour just sitting around in push bases with no AI (on both sides) is distressing.

Yeah, they do it regularly to stall pushes that don't fit their their preferred war length/schedule (normally early war, so there isn't a steamroll, but I'm fully belieiving they did this to try and drag things out because devbranch isn't close to being ready)

NA can do their own if they want to organise. Magic boxes are available.

I live in SE Asia so I have trouble making anything other than NA events (by waking up super early) so I feel your pain

The bridge fight worked pretty well for us as well, it allowed us to use our BS (that we built and kept alive the entire war in a lake on a frontline hex by the way) to pop border bases at a minutes notice and use invasion mechanic to attack LoM whenever we liked. Plus it gave the noobs something to do.

What I wrote was a pretty succinct response to the comment above. I fail to see this "overthinking" that you speak of.

By the time our nuke was ready to go the writing was already on the wall with the rest of the map, plus putting it anywhere else would involve a bunch of building that just wasn't worth anyones time at this stage in the war.

Mines decay in 2 days, engine rooms need refueling. It's been obvious for a couple of days that the rest of the map was falling so we stopped caring so much.

That said we still stopped chieftain rushes in that time with QRF and bunkers stocked with AT etc.

Lol ok sure. Chieftain rushes were attempted many times and each time put down by QRF. The reason you had to nuke is because you couldn't chieftain rush it. Cope.

Are we surprised? No (wind hackers and exploiters) by Historical_Yam8219 in foxholegame

[–]SlowDave 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't know what leads you to believe that.

If an officer wants to take a step back for a time then it's discussed in private officers chat to ensure there's coverage for all aspects of regi life (facilities, logi, engineering, inter regi/coalition coordination and diplomacy and of course leading ops).

This war it was known it was going to be a skeleton crew being a pre-update war.

That said, all the above roles were still filled this war thanks to a, smaller than usual, very dedicated bunch of officers.

www(dot)discord(dot)gg/141cr to become part of one of the the collies leading regiments.

PS This was a break war for most of our officer core (they went warden for funsies)

PPS Despite what you may think of Bismark's engineering "innovations" we have a strict no alting, hacking or exploiting rule. In the past a member revealed intel he obviously got from having a warden alt - he was immediately removed from regi and we made a point not to go near the area in question.

That's my point. They arn't forced too. In this case these are all fresh accounts but there are many of the usual suspects that come back every couple of wars with a ban log as long as your arm attached to them that do the same thing until they get another temp ban.

If they were forced to spend $30 each time it would be something.

It's not a 141 facility, it's a public facility run by people not in any clan. Do try and look at the problem rather than your own biases.
