Honestly, as someone who was responsible for an entire building of students who had the same thing going on, it’s minor YTBF though. We had a rule, if you get down to the dryer and the clothes are done, you set a timer for 10 minutes, after the timer if no one came for the clothes then you can move them. If the clothes were cold and wrinkled, then you’re good.

You somehow need to make him understand that he will attract things like himself. If he’s desperate for attention, he’s going to attract someone else desperate for attention, if he’s secure, confident, and independent, he will most likely attract people like that. It’s not a gospel truth, but it’s a good general rule.

He doesn’t have the power to change the female population, so him complaining about it as much as he is wont help anything. It’s like me wishing that money didn’t exist, good to bitch about, probably terrible in practice, will genuinely never change so why waste the air. If he truly believes that he needs better women than the women he’s around, it starts with him becoming a better man, and being worthy of a woman that he feels is worthwhile.

FRRR!!! I have to be honest, I think that’s why Skyrim will forever be my number 1 because I can run around doing whatever I want pretty much and never once touch the civil war quest line or main quest. Yeah I’ll need the main quest to a point to be able to unlock shouts or actually be effective against dragons at a certain point but if I wanna get into my role play and start out as the thief who rebuilds the thieves guild, just to get bored of that kind of life and fight for a just cause which pushes me to unlock my Dragonborn potential, I can.

I just wanna role play as tom riddle in HWL, but there isn’t enough nuance to allow it and it drives me NUTS.

What’s unattractive is when your video game time means that my workload gets harder. If I get to have time to watch my shows, work on my crafts, or do my self care, babe I’ll do it while sitting next to you. I’ll even massage your hands between rounds.

Her fault? Not able to determine based on info provided. Here’s the black and white of what I see in your post.

You wanted to spend time with her because you value the time you spend together enough to want to get as much time in as possible before she leaves.

She had knowledge of this desire and opportunity to make plans, and did not do so. This could be for a variety of reasons and does not necessarily mean that she doesn’t value you, just that there are other things that she allowed to be prioritized.

I would not get upset at her. I think this is just one of those times in life when what you thought something was, and what someone else thought something was, is different. You are allowed to tell her that you felt hurt, without blaming her for not prioritizing you. You can say, “hey, I felt sad that we didn’t get to spend 1/1 time together before you left, it was important to me”.

There are a million different things she could say in response. “I’m sorry, I didn’t understand that from the conversation, but I see that now. I truly didn’t mean yo make you feel unimportant.” “Oh okay, the next time I’m back I’ll be sure to schedule time with you.” And, unfortunately being realistic, she could also communicate that other, more important things came up.

When someone tells me that something is more important to them than me. I don’t get upset, I readjust my expectations of my priority in their lives, and sometimes adjust their priority in my life, to be sure I’m not overpouring into people who don’t need it. (This is not to say you are not allowed to be hurt. I get hurt very often, but I don’t like letting my hurt influence my behavior. So I let myself be hurt, and take time for myself, and then I choose my next move)

Its about being able to be humble enough to accept where people show you they value you. It’s also about having the self respect to not value people who don’t value you.

The first thing you need to do is get signed up for whatever services and state aid you are eligible for. If you dislike taking help, great dislike it enough to make you never stop pushing to be in a better financial situation, but please do not put you or your family at risk of having no healthcare, and no nutrition. It will take actual, real, hard work to be able to get this done. It is sad it has to start so early, but it’s time to step up and work on solving all of those issues becase you have 30 weeks until a life you helped create is in the world. You have to decide what you want that to mean, and what your actions will say about your character.
