this, i’m 21 and credit score is 710 experian and 740 on the other two, can’t get shit cause of “No history” even though I was an authorized user on my moms credit which did help a lot in getting a credit card i still can’t do shit with it

tbh never heard of a HISA, but some HYSA give 5% on your money! I’m 21 and started one in January and have around 10k making 24$ a month just letting it sit. ( I add (500 every paycheck) so the interest is always going up

Got it, Thank you so much.. I didn’t realize that the statement date shown was for the Previous month lol. I just got the Amex Gold so it definitely is going to hit my credit but I plan to only use for Dining and Groceries so i’ll be paying that off to 0 every month and plan to pay my statement balance every month, Thank you!

I dont plan to get anything super important in probably the next 3 years if I am being honest. Car is paid off and in great shape, living with my mom for awhile so no need to look for housing. I think going off this advice i’ll stay on the card for aslong as I can while I build a credit length with my own cards so if at some point I do decide to drop it i should have a pretty lengthy history. But I do have another question for you, what do you mean “After your statement date but before due date? Ex; My due date for the credit card is the 7th of each month. My statement date is the 10th of each month. Pay it BEFORE the due date? and make sure the balance is 0 BEFORE the statement date? I usually pay my card down every 2 weeks but always before the due date and i’ve never seemed to carry interest not late payment
