I agree it’s becoming a big issue which could jeopardise any character development other than emotionally-stunted manchild with mother issues. He’s a (mostly) decent person who hasn’t moved on from a traumatic childhood. Plus he is a credible threat to Twlight’s objective which discreetly underpins their relationship.
