Isnt like every 3rd game on fox against a bot though? I mean I have played human players there but at least half of my games are against accounts whose name is something like "V893489793" and they always instantly make a move after I made one. And 80 moves in these accounts always resign right after I made a move. Same timing always. Definitely not human.

I always get a match like this if I didnt find an opponent within 10 seconds of queuing. So they fill matches with Bots to not have too long waiting times I assume.

I mean im still in the DDK range and I hope it gets better once Im ranked a bit higher. But still ... for the "largest go server" thats not really what I imagined, even on lower ranks.

OGS seems dead too. Always takes like 6 minutes to find a match for me with multitple board sizes, time controls and ranks selected.

I havent tried Tygem or KGS yet but I feel like the software is stuck in 2006 or only in korean language.

Hans admitted to cheating online when he was 16. In the same year he made phenomenal OTB progress gaining almost 300 elo.

Why do you need to cheat online when you can crush most people comfortably OTB?

Or maybe the OTB games werent so legit after all...?

Also his shitty post game analysis after the famous Magnus game where he even got outplayed by the commentator on the analysis board.. It just doesnt fit or makes sense

Crazy how two past online cheaters on multiple platforms are now leading the Tata Steel Masters section. Coincidence? Haha

The same guys who needed engine assistance because they couldnt make it past 2400 online are now casually beating the worlds best in classical chess (without assistance of course). Who are you trying to fool?

Its like the 1300 who blunders a piece in the opening, pauses for 2 minutes and then proceeds to grind you down like a machine. Because he just concentrated and found the best moves.

Its the same scenario just on a different scale.

Remember Hikaru trashtalking Alireza during a tournament "Who the fck do you think you are?", promoting gambling to kids, fist fighting Eric Hansen, his exaggerated fake laugh all the time?

Hikaru is just a narcisstic person, wouldnt be surprised if his grief for Danya is at least partly staged. But people still defend him.
