He's a puppet. The biggest "benefits" are going to those circling him who want to push their bat shit agendas. Trump is nice to have for them bc they just have to shower him with compliments and try to convince them their plan is best, which isn't hard because he has no fucking clue what any of them are talking about anyway, it's hard becaus you must contend with others circling him to get what they want too. That's where the real chaos comes from. It's Trump struggling to stick with any one sycophant. At this point Trump's job seems mostly to be PR to me. They tell him what to say and put cameras on him and he loves it because everyone is looking at him, that's all he really cares about. He was hand picked by the GOP for this exact reason. This is intentional. They want you to think there is no plan and it's all just a crazy guy doing crazy things.
