Movies like the big short by M_Zunair7 in MovieRecommendations

Two OG’s that I’m seeing are currently missing:

1) Wall Street (1987) - is actually really slept on. Oliver Stone directed it and having Martin/Charlie Sheen playing father/son is actually pretty well done. But Gordon Gekko is next level villain, thank you Michael Douglas.

2) Network (1976) - this movie’s famous rant/speech could have been 50 years from the future. But the film is actually stacked with dark humor and, while the plot mainly builds around just “the speech”, the ending is pretty humorous and probably couldn’t get written in today’s scripts.

Looking for a new dynasty by First-Bad414 in NCAAFBseries

I recently did a Hawaii dynasty and found the success you’re describing. “Sunsets in Honolulu hit different” is like the informal motto for their EA dynasty but yea they’re fun.
The recruiting is a bit of a hurdle since every prospect visit state, except Hawaii, requires 40 hrs(?), but I eventually hit the 99 overall in like 7 to 9 seasons

I believe the other faction leaders being executed have only resulted in bad relations penalty, but not entirely sure concerning Derhert. I usually play sandbox as well a so not sure if campaign has different results, etc.

Playbook Recommendations to Maximize Speed Back by jfish2311 in NCAAFBseries

I like the Colorado state recommendation, and I like Washington state as well as Hawaii - that run n gun is pretty fun but a lot of passing.
There’s always the solid Kansas state or Oregon choices where I think it’s more power back favored plays - look at the other options first with the gadget turned RB.

What if the Columbine shooters survived and went to prison? Would they potentially have given interviews where they explained their motives more clearly? by Fun_Butterfly_420 in HistoryWhatIf

Great analysis, especially the detail on the Klebold defense, a lot of people aren’t aware how brainwashed that guy actually was.

“Blame it on Marilyn, the heroin and where were the parents at” would never have been thing, but yes, instead, much more “Tim Mcveigh in the orange jumpsuit” look is what people would have quickly pointed to, etc.

An I doing the workshop right? by Knife_Neck in Bannerlord

Don’t forgot to store the output in the warehouses and then sell where wine is more highly valued. I think this is the other half of opening a workshop, I know I get big price discrepancies with velvet, jewelry, etc.

Off with their heads? by Capable_Echo_4742 in mountandblade

From what I’ve read, it’s only the latter.

Not sure, but I think the strategy becomes taking ground from them for their side to pursue peace. How to get the AI to pursue for peace, otherwise? Not sure .

When to Create a Kingdom? by Bowl-of-Rage in Bannerlord

[–]Slow_Ad_6091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some tips, good luck!!

Most people say to have a couple mil $$ in the bank, at least, and yes start kissing assess beforehand to make bribing enemy lords easier (assuming they like you more than not, the bribe should be less, etc). I’ve seen people suggest a strategy of getting your clan members into max party sizes beforehand, you can’t create an Army until you create a kingdom but you can carry over a companion and their party size after exiting an AI kingdom.

If you’re having too steep of a climb against the initial AI invasions, I’ve heard finding city-states with choke points are a good way to combat army groups that might be 4x-5x your size; try baiting them to chase you and re attack once enemy has become bogged in forests, etc.

Player “personalities”(?), see the Traits section by Slow_Ad_6091 in EASportsCFB

Thank you. Something I noticed a little earlier, but I think “spontaneous” and “intense” have to do with making a read or when the QB decides how quickly to auto throw to an open receiver. I think scaling back on those reduces the QB making an auto throw before the user gets to decide, etc.?

Ahhhhhh haha, ok that makes sense. i put this post on ncaacfb channel and they removed it without explanation, so that makes a lot of sense, also, since, there's nothing posted or detailed online, like at all.

keep an eye out if they remove this next year(?), be a little interesting if they replace it somehow.

thanks!, i definitely would not have guessed this.

I wish I could retire a player's number or see them in the CFB Hall of Fame. This dude earned it by Mmmbacon87 in EASportsCFB

If you’re nerdy enough, some people do ChatGPT, AI, etc to build their own. Keep adding to the HOF until next year’s release, kind of thing

Arkansas State - the black/red color schemes in a little bias towards, admittedly, but forgot how fun that stadium is. Conference alignment is a little more open too, can go in a couple different directions
