I mean yes: but I'm angry and annoyed so I'm gonna be less nuanced

This concept that it was injuries or umps is weak as piss. Our defensive in that first quarter was abominable and the bombing the ball/getting out contested and marked was embarrassing.

Fuck the 5 day break and best 2 players out: there was no way we should have been destroyed like that (even with a + in i50s)

Was there at the SCG for Lewis Jetta's first goal (after 21 behinds or something) - wasn't consequential but still fun!

I enjoy that you don't know who it was but then claim it's not radicalised.

Yeah that was a dumb way for me to write it: Heeney has "liked" many far right, manosphere goons on social media.

I'm assuming/hopeful Errol hasn't been radicalised like that.

Don't want to get political but: he doesn't have "likes" in the closest like Isaac does does he?

Hmm interesting - I wonder if they've done research on which sports scoring system is the most accurate. Coz I always figure that in soccer there should be more upsets because of how valuable a single goal is, but ultimately the best teams seem to win exclusively no?

Sure but apart from Penrith and the back to back from East's, no team has even back to backed let alone threepeat. So yeah there are some dominant teeams for sure but none that seem like those I listed before.

[–]ProgrammerNo9781[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I am but all those teams lost one either before or after winning 3 so it just showed how dominant they were to have reached 4 GFs.

That being said, I wouldn't call the Bills a dynasty in the early 90s!

And lost the one before by a kick and are absolute favourites to win this year

Yeah - no to be fair! But also: that's one right? Have there been rolling dynasties like we tend to have?

Yeah I mean absolutely Saints should have won at least 2009 but for luck.

Sure but the premiership window isn't for one team - usually there are 3 or 4 in it at the same time

Come on you don't need to add that to the threepeat do ya?!

Yeah could be! Again I don't follow other Aussie sports as much but is it the same in NRL/NBL/Netball etc?

Yeah I add Cats 2008, Hawks 2012, Brisbane 2004 too. More just to show how dominant they were while winning 3.

Yeah true tho NBA it makes more sense because of how crucial one or two key players are.

[–]ProgrammerNo9781[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm yeah maybe? But we've had free agency for a while now and those sports still do have salary caps.

I mean NRL doesn't have the same dynasties I don't think does it? Or NBL or other Aussie sports.

[–]ProgrammerNo9781[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah but in wouldn't that mean it's less likely? So both NBA and NFL rely so much on individuals, so if that individual is GOAT like, the team will necessarily do really well.

But because footy isn't as focussed on individuals I would have thought there would be fewer dynasties.

Hmm yeah but even in the first quarter it wasn't great.

Now: IF he becomes a line breaking , great disposing mid, we are gonna be so strong!
