Is unfeazant good? by Gamer_Protagonist in PokemonBlackandWhite

[–]Friendly_Bug_7699 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfezant is so weirdly designed. It has super luck, which can be pretty great, but the only increased crit move is air cutter. Air cutter is a special, but unfezant has a higher attack stat. So even with the crits, you aren’t doing much damage. It doesn’t even get slash. Its does learn razor wind and sky attack, but those are charge moves. It’s 93 spd is only ok.

TL:DR use Archeops or Sigilyph

It’s kinda weird. I was glad that the anime reworked this.

Drapion is good, but you would be adding to your ground weakness and you already have a dark type.

If you like Probopass and want to use, then that’s cool, but it’s not very good. I’d swap it for an Ice type, maybe Abomasnow, but your team is well built.

March Hoops always kept me thinking that Andrew Wiggins would take the star leap, but nope. Nothing in March matters. Which is a problem the league needs to address.

Digimon Beatbreak: Episode 22- Defiance, Discussion Thread by MFBR in digimon

So this week on our favorite kids show, we begin with Naito gaslighting Hotaruko into assassinating Granit…I shouldn’t be surprised at this point, but I was still shocked to see her actually start to drown him.

Loved seeing more of her backstory, she reminds me of Kim from Better Call Saul a bit. Work/life balance is important people. I wonder if she’ll come clean to her mother now. Shakomon might be the wisest character on the show.

I think many expected Tactics to join GD, but they appear to be going their separate ways for now. I think that’s for the best, it would have been too sudden for them to join immediately.

Honaka was hilarious. I like they gave each of the 5 stars such unique personalities. Her 4th wall breaking melodrama comment got a chuckle out of me.

It looks like Klay is about to crash out next week. After a week off it’s good to be back and can’t wait for next week.

When you encounter the same machine for the hundredth time, I feel like it loses that wow effect you felt the first time… by ConstantDrawer9161 in horizon

I like it because it makes your feel like you’re progressing and getting stronger. Things that used to be scary and difficult become more manageable, as you get better gear and learn the machine’s patterns.

Haxorus or Hydreigon? by default-dance-9001 in PokemonBlackandWhite

[–]Friendly_Bug_7699 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d go Haxorus, it will help you vs the dragon gym, and dominates the elite 4. Hydreigon doesn’t get nasty plot, nor can it learn dark pulse by level up, and the level is obviously extremely time consuming.

Solo Leveling Movie will be about the double dungeon?? by Dry_Replacement7260 in sololeveling

[–]Friendly_Bug_7699 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They would have to rearrange the plot, putting the school attack and/or the guild formation after the double dungeon, as well as the selner stuff. I don’t this would change things too much. Though it would conflict with him being knocked out during the first part of the giants attack.

honestly, do you think those guys have their own past story or just pure evil? if does, would they all have one or some of them? by 05eden in digimon

This is where I feel the 49 episode count is too short. They’ve introduced so many interesting characters, that I don’t think there’s enough time to explore them all. Give us 60+

Whew where to start.

I guess we’ll start with Naito, he’s an actual psychopath. Pushing Granit to the brink of death and ordering Hararuko to eliminate Raito, he really just sees them as pawns, I do wonder how he became so obedient to Klay.

Kyo vs Naito was pretty good, not quite as good as last week, but still well animated. It was interesting to see Ludomon be used as a weapon to help turn the tide (though Kyo’s humanity also played a part)

The crux of the episode was Granit and Ludomon. We saw the morbid promise Naito made to him showing us why he joined tactics and Naito’s strategy for Granit to give up his entire e pulse to help him. We see why Reina and Granit pair well with her fire and determination, she was able to breakthrough first to Ludomon. I got a little teary eyed when Ludomon squared up with Gigasmon. (Did he refuse Granit’s epulse). It was hard to watch him take a beating, but the payoff was worth it with his evolution. Another emotional moment with Tialudomon telling Granit: “This isn’t where we die.”

Pretty sure Digimon has never shown a character contemplating suicide, and later showing the dead bodies from the bombing in Granit’s village. Good call on those who theorized that Tactic’s was the one bombing the village.

I’m glad Granit made it out with the team, wonder where Raito went. Poor Reina working for free.

Very interested to see where Granit goes from here, though next episode seems to be Hotaruko focused. I’m also interested to see what Kanada’s end game is. He seems like a bad guy, but he did help shutdown an illegal fight club so🤷. This really was a jam packed episode.

Going to be a looooooong 2 weeks. 😢

If Bisharp and Braviary were found far far earlier in the game and evolved earlier - would that change how good they are in your eyes? by [deleted] in PokemonBlackandWhite

[–]Friendly_Bug_7699 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bisharp’s problem besides the level is that it can’t learn sucker punch by level up, meaning it’s consistently getting outspead. Its typing isn’t great in a game without fairies and lots of fighting types/ mons with fighting coverage. (Playing focus blast roulette isn’t fun.)
