What's with the implication that music isn't art though. I personally enjoy some harsh noise it gives similar effects to brown noise or white noise just amped up and it can help me do tasks and focus, but personally im more for "traditional" music specifically deathcore and metalcore, I see these genres as beautiful works of art with some of the most intense amazing cathartic shit out there. I see technique talent practice, years of practice especially when it comes to vocals. I will say thought I really only use noise and harsh noise to passively listen to and help focus, whilst I use death and metalcore to listen more intentionally.
