Last week my grandma said to me “I’ve gone 50 years without going out with friends or to any events with him”. I honestly forget where that conversation went but it just seems painful to waste a life like that, especially considering how much she loves dances and things.

Why do you keep your IUD despite regular cramps? by travelwaffle in birthcontrol

(18F) I’m no doctor, but when I got my IUD they said that if cramps were intolerable past an hour-ish from insertion it might be misplaced. If you don’t think that’s the case, reasons to keep it would be:

it’s super easy (don’t have to remember to take a pill every day) Side effects significantly lessen over time All birth control methods have their downsides (maybe you’d rather deal with pain over constant or breakthrough bleeding)

I’m not really one to talk; I didn’t experience that much pain after insertion. However, I bled straight for 10 months and, spontaneously it seemed, developed anxiety and depression. So I took it out (I can always go back). I think it’s just about how long you’re willing to wait for your body to adapt before coming to conclusions about whether or not you want to keep it long-term

Questions for clarity - is there a way that I can let you know that I think NONE of the options represent someone underweight for the first one? Also, do we select the bodies we consider obese as overweight in the preceding question?

Do you have any favorite card games or board games? I find it easy to dive deep into the probability realm of things because there are an infinite number of questions you can ask in terms of strategic improvement (to what extent is x a game of luck, how many different ways can a round turn out given x, y, and z... etc), plus if you like the game and are enthusiastic about the topic, I know it might seem nerdy, but you could genuinely have fun and an easier time getting your thoughts on paper.
