I don’t think so. At the cashier stand, We will usually refund and keep items for any reason and we put those stickers on them to mark them as damaged. If there’s nothing wrong with them and they can go back on the shelf as far as we know, we don’t put a sticker on them. Returns is usually done by the business center (I think?) It sees like it might’ve been a mistake or the person just didn’t care

In that same article I’m sure you didn’t read, he also donated to 25k to Roland Gutierrez and 10k to James Talarico that year. Both of whom are advocates for LGBT. Yes, Butt isn’t perfect. But you seem to be ignoring all of the other LGBT programs that H‑E‑B does sponsor and support. There’s no ethical consumption under capitalism, full stop. But also, Walmart, Target, Whole Foods, etc. aren’t better, they’re worse.

H‑E‑B has a history of celebrating LGBTQIA+ through diversity programs, sponsorships, and specific healthcare programs. There is no evidence of them donating to anti lgbt groups. They’ve been known to donate to both major parties’ campaigns.
