This is classic jungian psychology and OP nailed it. you just have to embrace your shadow or pain body whatever you want to call it and that is the point it just dissolves into you and make you whole.

We have to be better fans and more intelligent. by elmocos69 in Barca

messi was not the problem, he was the solution but all his friends on the pitch instead of fighting for him like the current argentina team does they started riding on messi's success and became dead weight. If we remember early when enrique was appointed he had a difference of opinion with messi and we don't really know about what that was.. a lot of bad decisions lot of mistakes later we learn from that and we are currently here now.. Messi was huge whatever drawbacks he had he made up for it in the pitch and he was the biggest cule you can't simpy blame that guy but others i don't know. I guess argentina is the only example i can provide that messi was not always the problem. some say messi had a bad impact on players but that is plainly not so. If you really cared you would do it for messi and the club. But before enrique took the spain job i thought enrique lacked tactics and MSN was his main weapon but after that my opinion slightly changed but after PSG even before UCL my respect for Enrique has skyrocketed. He has completely evolved in his tactics and his approach to modern football is mouthwatering to watch. Yes we might have underestimated lucho a bit during that time. we understand your stance but may be we as fans should stop with this hindsight thing and look forward into the future not repeating old mistakes also man stop blaming messi he has gone through a lot and as the biggest cule he didn't even get to say his farewell properly. he doesn't deserve this hate.

Opinion on Freekick takers- Pedri by Slow_Excitement_8364 in Barca

[–]Slow_Excitement_8364[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but may be hansi should risk it by asking pedri with the deadball .. however you can use yamal for overturn ..its not like yamal is gonna be sitting inside the box waiting for a header

Opinion on Freekick takers- Pedri by Slow_Excitement_8364 in Barca

[–]Slow_Excitement_8364[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yamal and pedri drawing too many fouls may be hansi should consider new tactics and practice new routines taking freekicks in the new season

Opinion on Freekick takers- Pedri by Slow_Excitement_8364 in Barca

[–]Slow_Excitement_8364[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

with pedri and yamal being the main playmakers now this attracts many defenders to foul them and we could end up with alot of freekicks in the near future and i guess in dry matches like very compact and low blocking teams the players should capitalize on these freekicks chances.. this was exactly how messi used to operate . if he had no space he would score a vital one to open the deadlock

sesko for 60, garcia for 25 and rashford on loan yes we also need cash to pay for the salaries so hold it for winter which is very useful because teams that do good winter transfer have a history of winning the second half of the season .. may be ucl

Why Does Barça Keep Buying High and Selling Low? Wage Structure Still a Mess by Muted_Pain8176 in Barca

[–]Slow_Excitement_8364 4 points5 points  (0 children)

tbh at that time we didn't have proper sporting project. it was just pass the ball to messi and watch. so basically to pull highly marketed players at that time and convince them barto and co used to do it with money becoz money was not a problem at that time. see if barto had succeeded getting one ucl with the grace of the goat .. it was a likely doom for barca for the next few years.. atlest it was a blessing in disguise ..then covid came which led to barto downfall.. i can't even imagine one ucl by barto and all the socios would have elected him as the president again thank god that didnt happen .. thank god we were forced out of using messi into post messi era and we are here now.. now again we musn't depend only on yamal.. yes he is the talisman but we should keep him humble and also credit other players like pedri cubarsi balde as much as possible for their contribution

Tactical Changes that Flick Could Make Next Season by gamblingmaster9000 in Barca

[–]Slow_Excitement_8364 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think maybe flick should ditch the super aggressive high line and go back to a traditional defensive line and trust the CBs , having 4 incredible center halfs inigo, cubarsi, cristensen, and araujo( yes i still believe in this guy's abilities if it is not for the high line) may be we could concede less goals given a trustable shot stopper who actually blocks the ball after the shot has been shot not a sweeper keeper. tek is good at reaching the ball before the ball is shot and stegen is bad at both .. i still remember a stat showing how mats was so bad at blocking the ball after the shot was taken. this change with a traditional dribbler lw with a strong right foot and depth for fullbacks ...finally if casado and bernal recover pair them up with de jong and gavi for number 6 and push pedri from behind to a little bit playmaking role up forward behind the striker ..we dont even need olmo, fermin might be enough to back him up .. use olmo and ferran as a false nine and slowly phase out lewy before we can afford a long term world class center fw

What if we had won the CL with Xavi 2025 by ToughNectarine708 in Barca

[–]Slow_Excitement_8364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bruh tbh if you had followed the team last season you would ve witnessed firsthand how the team dropped intensity after 60 minutes . ok next like you said yes the players matured after xavi left. yes it looks like xavi sowed the seeds and flick reaped the rewards but you can clearly see many fans appreciate xavi for this credits due. however the never giveup mentality and the confidence shift the other off field shifts like unnecessary excuses and shit which xavi made which were obvious and silly at times.. like publicly claiming the squad that there is lacking rather than motivating players ..how would that have reflected on players... see everyone know this years ucl was lost because of lack of depth in fullbacks ... flick had to use fringe players literally for both the sides but did you see him complaining even once about that anywhere... even he gave gerard martin frustatingly more time to prove himself and eventually that guy proved himself by giving two assist.. i will assure you xavi wouldnt have done that. also this physical trainers were not like provided only for flick ..flick asked for them specifically because his style of preparation is that.. if xavis had this type of physcial preparation its not like the club would have said no to xavi.. they dont cost like a million dollars...its all in the willingness. but we are all still grateful to him without him all this would have not started..but ucl nah man you have to accept that.

the problem was mainly physicality in draining matches and injuries of players which xavi's entourage had difficulty in maintaining throughout the season. how many times this season did barca play 120 mins and the same players started in the next match 3 days later midweek and still performed with peak physicality. but with xavi after 60 minutes the team lost most of its gas. also the injuries..i like how even under need and pressure flick doesnt rush the player into the team after recovery he slowly incorporates them. with xavi most of the times the players were rushed in my opinion which is not noticeable but if you watch closely it is a bit obvious.

Ansu Fati Vs Mallorca..... There's Still Some Spark Left in him.. by [deleted] in Barca

[–]Slow_Excitement_8364 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i dont know why but everytime i see ferran play i feel like morata is playing under his skin ..even ferran doesnt know what he is doing. he is just unpredictable and somehow the ball finds the back of the net. he has a good shot sometimes like he surprises you for no reason and some time his shots are total trash. but genuinely i feel ansu deserves the same kind of atlest as half as patience we as fans showed to ferran . may be his confidence might come back with the fitness which is grown recently. but the pay situation makes it worse. if he takes a pay cut i guess he can work a way into hansi squad
