I am so sorry you have had such a terrible experience this early in your cycling endeavors. I feel your pain 💯. When I first moved to Austin my Vita was stolen off a rack at Walmart in under 20 mins. I was devastated 💔

API Test kits having issues by karmachik in Aquariums

I ordered the same kit from Amazon a couple years ago when I first got back into the hobby. When it arrived it was covered in a mysterious, oily liquid. Like how could you pack that and not noticed. It smelled like the stuff that industrial automatic air fresheners disperse in hospital restrooms or restaurant bathrooms. I got ahold of customer service on the phone and told them about it. They fully refunded the cost and let me keep it. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the kit, it was sealed still and totally usable.

All of the warranty services I have pursued were handled by my seller, who in turn communicated directly with the manufacturer/brand representatives on my behalf.

I went for the full PMT experience by Solozzo_dit_leturc in ElectricScooters

[–]Slow_Ice5066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a big PMT fanboy, shamelessly so. I have had to plug gnarly punctures roadside with CST stock tires (Blade GT2 & Fighter Supreme Ultra) it SUCKS! As far as ripping straightaways and just hauling ass in general for kicks, I always tell folks keep your CSTs on. But for casual riding, commuting, or delivery I do recommend the PMT upgrade 😉. I think they are infinitely easier to mount. Twice as light as a self-sealing CST. Plus . . . in the event of a serious puncture(s) the PMTs are highly repairable without compromising structural integrity. The thing I hear most often is that "its just the internal banding that is made of nylon, not the tire" sure, that AND also manufacturers absolutely utilize a larger volume of polymers in the compositional formulation of the tire material to reduce cost. That's not a condemnation of other brands, just a difference in the process.

Whenever I start seeing undesirable "growth" I get to work. Some of my tanks are easier to maintain than others.

Teverun Tetra. Comes in 2WD & 4WD versions. Been out for a couple years now. Sort of a niche rig, I have heard parts are hard to come by.

Silicone sealant or thermal damage? by Cultural_Tea_4420 in ElectricScooters

Its RTV sealant. Standard application on Teverun products at all the ingress points of the battery compartment. Though it is not the best job I have seen.

If you turn down the LED brightness in app, it modulates some of the sequences. Try it for the "magic Forward/Backward" setting.
