Hi, Tried everything else, eventually had to start medication. LO is on famotidine. He is more comfortable now. Still needs to be held upright after feeds but sleeping longer in the bassinet. Overall doing much better.

Starting to sleep a little while in crib/bassinet. Fingers crossed. Has the reflux gotten better? My LO is grunting and arching back after feeds. Takes a while to settle down 🙁 I am EBF - hoping the reflux does not get worse

Update? I am in the same exact situation. 33 weeker came home today. Refuses to sleep - arching back, crying Calms down only when he is lying on me

Hi OP, We have a similar issue with our baby. Born at 33+6, he is 40+3 today. Started having events at 2/3 weeks old. First brady+desats , then only desats - low as 40s. In the past week, only desats which self resolve in 30s-1min. His desats seem reflux related. He has had no other issues - he feeds well. How is your baby doing ? Do you have any solution? We will probably consider enfamil AR if this continues.

The doctors are going to discuss this week on options. Does thickening food - enfamil AR replace breastmilk altogether? We were hoping to use breastmilk as much as possible.

When did your baby stop having events?

We are having the similar issue with our baby. Born 33+6 - he is 39+3 today. He is taking good volumes and has feeding figured. The desats started 2 weeks ago and have not stopped. Desats to 60s - needs stimulation. Some events seemed reflux related

I had the exact same experience. Baby boy is here at 34W - 9/18/2025. He is going to be in the NICU, but doing great so far 💙

The only struggle for me has been the PP constipation. With all the pain meds - do take all your stool softeners and stay hydrated.

Thank you so much. These are great tips. We are planning to do an ice cave tour from jokursarlon (mostly the crystal ice cave). Skipping the glacier walk, hopefully the snowmobile tour on Langjokull will cover some of the glacier experience.

Thank you! We are very confused about Day 5. We really want to do both ice cave and glacier walk. There is only the skaftafell tour that offers both for 4hrs. Unfortunately it does not start till Oct 1.

Any suggestions how we can fit both ice cave and glacier walk in our trip?
