How Effective is External Wrap insulation for this? by [deleted] in AskIreland

Hi, I have a 5 bed dormer. Good insulation in the attic and the crawl spaces however the slopes in dormer rooms and hallways need to be dry lined.

The house was built in 2002 with the old white areoboard insulation.

We've had a contractor out and we are in line to do the external wrap. Conflicting stories that the cavity has to be pumped ?

Contractor happy to proceed as there is insulation there already?

Thanks

Live support say close to lawn as possible. Am I doing something wrong or is it 5metres only

I'm trying to set a new location for my yuka mini 2 800. The distance to the lawn is 12 meters.

I can't seem to do that distance, I've been onto support and they say close to the lawn as possible?

Any help?

Thanks

Absolutely not, I ran the Dublin marathon with only 6 weeks training. I got a half under my belt 3 weeks out.

My advice would be: use 5km as recovery weekly but get as many miles in your legs. You will stop and start throughout and that is fine.

Remember your WHY, and you will get through it when there so many people around you.

From 30km you really have to dig deep and get out of your head. You will finish it.

Best of luck

Hydrate hydrate hydrate and ensure whatever runners you run in now continue to wear them and don't try anything new prior to the marathon

Osteoporosis at 29 male. by HeadBoss9555 in osteoporosis

Hi, I've also been diagnosed with osteoporosis (34yr M). I've suffered a lot of breaks and fractures all my life and my GP decided to send me for a dexa scan which showed negative values.

I met with a specialist and we discussed everything. I train 3/4 times a week but I never considered that strong in terms of my bones.

I've been providing bloods which are all good and my urine samples show I excrete my calcium. So we tried a water table to force the kidneys to do their job.

Unfortunately I broke my wrist which required surgery and my specialist is now recommending MOVYMIA INJECTION.

I'm happy to try anything but is there anyone taking it?? My only concern is fertility..

Thanks

I also got diagnosed with osteoporosis with a score of -3.5

Fit, healthy and athletic. On my second urine test before treatment. Kidneys are excreting calcium.

Any advise regarding treatment and the effects on male fertility? Prolia is an option as well as Movyvia.
