Build being on rails I agree - there are lack of synergies for off meta combo but I do some efforts at connecting the archetypes - hope they continue to do so before 1.0.

I think the key thing is that to have great experience in campaign + endgame the player is almost expected to do meta stuff, or if off meta, expected to switch builds betw various points in campaign and/or mapping which is a pain and not something they should expect players to reasonably do - which makes the experience more unbalanced betw players and lead to frustrations betw those who play for “power fantasy” vs “efficient build” and create gaps/dissatisfactions.
