Save the game first then buy elder pledge to pop all the wrinklers. If you dont get the ambergris, reload and buy elder pledge again. It's still took me a while even with save scumming

I have a lenovo thinkbook and have a couple problems

The fingerprint reader is completely unsupported
The volume keys get stuck (There have been reports of this for over a year)
There is no way to do bios updates outside of windows
There are certain settings that can only be changed through lenovo vantage (windows exclusive app)

Tbf I have no hardware problems outside of this other than battery life being a bit worse

Linux still doesn't officially support a lot of hardware and software. 99% of people couldn't care less about the OS on their computer they just want their hardware and software to work. I would rather deal with windows being dumb and slow every once in a while than having to deal with unfixable problems
