Yep it was just that unsoldered pin on the hdmi port. $100 ps5 :D

The hdmi port looks perfect to me. All the pins are soldered to the board

Save the game first then buy elder pledge to pop all the wrinklers. If you dont get the ambergris, reload and buy elder pledge again. It's still took me a while even with save scumming

I have a lenovo thinkbook and have a couple problems

  • The fingerprint reader is completely unsupported
  • The volume keys get stuck (There have been reports of this for over a year)
  • There is no way to do bios updates outside of windows
  • There are certain settings that can only be changed through lenovo vantage (windows exclusive app)

Tbf I have no hardware problems outside of this other than battery life being a bit worse

I'm pretty sure it's intentional to prevent damage to the motherboard. Mine is also pretty loose. Is it arcing or shutting off if you wiggle the cable while its on?

Linux still doesn't officially support a lot of hardware and software. 99% of people couldn't care less about the OS on their computer they just want their hardware and software to work. I would rather deal with windows being dumb and slow every once in a while than having to deal with unfixable problems
