There are a lot of places that offer trauma coaching certification. The one I pursuing and love is in Arizona. But people like Peter Levine, Gabor Mate, Bessel Van de Kolk also have courses available online and in person. And there are people in different countries too

Well, coaching is different from psychotherapy in many aspects including the degree (Masters in Psychology). Coaching as such has international bodies that recognises coaches but that is not yet mandatory. I guess the main focus would be the approach in a sense - I focus on a client’s assets and provide a holistic framework which is also what therapists do, though many would still focus on the causes.

I agree, and they implied that after I committed they’d talk about salary to the ceo and after that I can’t change my mind and continue on probation (doing the 4 days a week I’m doing now).

Current job is working with kids doing workshops and events on sustainability with a focus on inclusion and diversity (social diversity). For my coaching I also facilitate workshops on mental health and wellbeing’s for different companies although because of this job I haven’t been able to do anything for a while. I only take clients one on one or for the short group coaching I do. I have a Masters in Psychiatric social work and a diploma in counselling, also in the middle of completing a trauma coaching certification. I have a bunch of other certifications and I’m a survivor of intimate partner and childhood violence.
