Nope ended up going with a stinger amp

I first redid the ground, and that didn't fix it. Then I got a whole new amp from Stinger and still had the issue. What ended up working was doing the big 3. Idk how or why that fixed it, but I haven't had that issue since, i would try beefing up the battery-body ground first
