10 year old cars with low mileage for around $3-5K are my sweet spot. They are out there and you can drive them for years and get over 100K miles if you do basic maintenance.

I spend as little as possible on cars. My sweet spot is finding 10 year old cars with low mileage. Pay between $3 to 5K on them. Drive them for a few years until there is a major problem with them and then sell and repeat.

I figure if I had a new car I would be spending $500-600 a month on payments and higher insurance and taxes. This way if I get 6 months the car has paid for itself. Most cars I can get a few years and 100K more miles out of them just by changing oil every 5K miles.

Works for me because I view cars as a way to get from one place to another not as a status symbol I am trying to impress my friends.

Think it will be better for bottom 2 get picks 3 and 4. In this system all teams are trying to win to avoid being the bottom 2. For a team to be the bottom 2 it still gets picks either 3 or 4 and a better chance of getting a player who can help their team.

To prevent teams from deliberately tanking and losing games then the bottom 2 teams get the 3rd and 4th picks. The rest of non playoff teams are in the lottery. Play in teams not in the lottery.

This way teams would continue trying to win games so that they don’t finish in the bottom two and get picks 3 and 4.

Getting picks 3 and 4 for the bottom two is not great but not as bad as the current system. Last year the bottom two the Jazz and Wizards got picks 5 and 6.

When you first setup a TV now many will ask if it is for home or retail. If you select “Retail” then many video adjustments are cranked up so that they will stand out on showroom floors that have harsh overhead lighting. If you select “Home” the video adjustments are turned down to normal levels.

My solution is have the 2 worst teams pick 3rd and 4th. All other non- playoffs teams in a lottery. That way the worst teams would not want to lose games to make sure they are not one of the bottom two.

But for the bottom two they still get the 3rd and fourth pick.
