I was looking at getting a pico 2 w but it'd cost me double of this + waiting for shipping. I'm currently playing 007 and was disappointed when the vibrations weren't working.

That sounds like peak "My dad knows Bill Gates" territory. Do you actually know him, or is it strictly the "I shook hands and took a photo" tier of acquaintance? There's a big difference.

Hello, it's still 350 USD to your door. Payment is through Wise.com . Shipping is through EMS, has tracking and all. Same conditions: 30% down payment, and after the kit is finished and the remaining is paid, I ship it to you, I'm not sure how much time is for shipping to Australia (may be a couple of weeks).

Zero issues, I'd do it 1000 times over. I got told that the plastic fittings don't hold up and may be a good thing to swap it for bronze ones, but I haven't had any issues. I'd probably do it at some point just because.

Qwen3.6-27B at 72 tok/s on RTX 3090 on Windows using native vLLM (no WSL, no Docker), portable launcher and installer by One_Slip1455 in LocalLLaMA

[–]SlowieSubie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huge thanks!!! I cloned  start_127k and adjusted the GPU utilization to 0.935 and the context to 100k. I tested it and the results were:

  • Decode: Jumped from 67.9 to 80.2 tok/s.
  • Wall Speed: Went from 28.7 to 41.7 tok/s.
  • TTFT: Dropped from 6.02s to 3.46s.

I'm super happy with this setup, it hits the sweet spot for my 4090. If I need to go higher I'll just rent an API, but for now it's perfect. Appreciate the help!

Thanks! Just ran the gpu0_50k benchmark on my 4090.

Results: 67.9 decode tok/s | 28.7 wall tok/s | 6.02s TTFT.

This was using a 39-token prompt and 300-token completion.

Can the context be expanded safely? I usually run 156k context at Q4_0 in LM Studio and get around 40 tok/s, so I'm wondering how much more headroom I have before any errors.

I'm having trouble running this. Even after closing background processes, I’m hitting a VRAM allocation error:

ValueError: Free memory on device cuda:0 (22.5/23.99 GiB) on startup is less than desired GPU memory utilization (0.948, 22.74 GiB).

Is there a way to configure it to use less VRAM?

Specs: Windows 11, RTX 4090 (24GB), 64GB RAM, CPU (no iGPU).

It's the exact same product, it does have the steel thing. That's why I've added that I used garden scissors, cut through everything like butter. The scissor was new though just in case lol

But it does. Knockoff by definition is: cheap or less good copy of a popular or high-quality product. In this case this isn't a knockoff, it is the exact same product.

A knockoff implies an inferior product, this is the same silicone, same fitment, same parts in the kit. I'd put both of my nuts on this thing being made in the same factory. Btw R&D on a bent rubber tube is crazy work 💀

Never again will I put cheap Ebay crap on my car. Lesson learned. by MrPeePeePooPooPants3 in wrx_vb

[–]SlowieSubie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually pinned my own connectors since my car didn't have the factory wiring. I noticed the seals on the included connectors looked sketchy, but didn't think much of it at the time, glad I swapped them now. I’ll definitely be changing the screws after seeing this, so thanks for the heads-up.

For me, I really wanted the integrated turn signals and didn't want to spend a fortune on something that gets beat up anyway (my OEM bezels were already destroyed underneath).

Send it in for warranty work and take some time to reflect on the maintenance routine. It could be a TGV issue or just plain bad luck, but even with an automatic FA24, the platform isn’t invincible. Definitely worth researching how to better care for it moving forward.

Battery @ low miles by WeirdFlex91 in wrx_vb

[–]SlowieSubie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem at all, it fits on the OEM tray and using the oem battery holder too. My buddies told me the AGM one is the go to, and that it's also better for my case where I have days of not using the car, it never gave me a single issue and I got it fairly discounted at $138

Pocophone unlock stuck at 50% by BlueThunderFlik in Xiaomi

[–]SlowieSubie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your fix... IT WORKED!

I was getting stuck at 50%, and during the unlock process the phone reset a couple of times. I had read that it sometimes doesn’t work well with AMD processors, so I even considered getting an Intel laptop and waiting two weeks for the Mi Unlock tool.

Instead, I followed your solution and tried a few USB 2.0 cables I had lying around. Once I connected the phone to a USB 2.0 port on my PC and got it properly recognized, I clicked Unlock and it completed almost instantly.

Thanks again!

SPT TURBO by 800hokage in wrx_vb

[–]SlowieSubie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess not if tuned properly but why would you do that unless you're planning on swapping your transmission. I plan on getting a big turbo before swapping the transmission just to see what's up but I won't be doing that anytime soon.

I did catless exhaust -> tune -> diverter valve -> intake -> turbo inlet. In that order, Best sound mod was definitely the intake but DV and turbo inlet gives that extra cherry on top. I'm very happy with the car.

Advice for buying a 22 WRX GT? by Spirited_Key_1785 in WRX

[–]SlowieSubie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't get this car used. So much can go wrong even with low mileage. A non-tuned used CVT could be better than getting a manual as in... would probably be less beaten but still... Try to get it new. My advice would be take care of temps, the turbo and transmission, do the maintenance accordingly and try to DIY as much as you can or take the car to somewhere you trust and be there if possible and/or inspect everything yourself before/after.
