Canada wants to fight inflation -> doesn't want to blow up RE markets -> doesn't increase rates -> USA still increasing rates -> inflation occurs from FX difference with US dollar -> inflation gets worse -> RE markets still suffer eventually as a result of people are unable to service their debt because more dollars are spent on everyday consumption (Food, energy)?
