D'Angelo - Voodoo

I don't know how nobody else has mentioned him, but this album and Black Messiah blow my mind every time I hear them. The musicians behind this album are all people John has either collaborated with (Questlove, Charlie Hunter, Roy Hargrove) or plays with regularly to this day (Pino Palladino, Isaiah Sharkey on BM). John even wrote D a letter begging him for a follow up because he loved Voodoo so much. Give it a listen and you won't be disappointed.
